Elvis Presley Death

I’m here to tell you about the rumor that Elvis Presley could be alive. This story might be true but also it can be only a bad prank. There have been a lot of reports to the police of people that affirm that they have seen a person identically to Elvis Presley in different streets of Rosario-Argentina. But here is the confusing thing, there are been also reports of people that say they have seen him in parts of Miami, walking like if nothing have happen. This evidence has to mean something because is not usual that people reports a fake death of a famous artist just by a prank. Few people say that he can’t be alive, but could he be alive? We are not sure, that’s why nowadays this still like an unsolved mystery, there aren’t 100 percent sure proofs that can affirm his death or that he could be alive. In my opinion, he must have pretended his death for people leave him to have a normal life, just like all of us. He might have pretend all of this because he just wanted to be a normal civilian just like the others and we should leave him to live how he wants because he is a human just like everyone. Don’t judge him and leave him to live how he wants to live.

  The Mary Celeste 

In November 1872 the Mary Celeste was sailing to europe witha cargo of wine and liqu

 or . the captain benjamin briggs was accompanied by his wife , his young dauther and the crew of seven men. On december 4 , 1872 the mary celeste was found in perfect conditions  , floatin 600 miles off Gibraltar . The only things missing were the ship papear , its chronometer and everyone on boad , they had all completely vanished . Some theories said that the captian  and the crew may have abandoned the ship because they thought she was about to sink. I think the must be swept overboat by a large wave .It couldhave be a pirate attack because one report suggested that there were blood and weappons.

There are a lot of theories that exist in our society, some of them might be true and the other might not be real. One of the theories about this place believes in some kind of supernatural force. The Bermuda triangle has long been believed to be the site where a number of mysterious plane and boat incidents have occurred, because there is a problem in this place that when someone go there they just can’t try to communicate with others so that’s why until now nobody knows what happens in this part of the world. Since the first disappearance people tried to find out what happens in this place. Someone believes that these disappearances have been caused by UFOS and that the people that disappeared may have appeared in another part of the world or that they are traveling through time.  Researchers like Ivan Sanderson suspected that the strange sea and sky phenomena, mechanical and instrument malfunctions, and mysterious disappearances were the result of what he called "magnetic vortices" where, he said, "tremendous hot and cold currents crossing the most active zones might create the electromagnetism affecting all the kinds of instruments and vehicles.

 The Nazca Lines

The Nazca Lines are a series of ancient geoglyphs .The area of the Peruvian desert in which the Nazca Lines were drawn is called the Pampa Colorada. It is 15 miles wide and runs some 37 miles parallel to the Andes and the Pacific Ocean.

There has been a great mystery as to why they were created many theories have been put

-The first one is very well know by us. It was formulated by Maria Reiche. She says that it might have been like a calendar, and that natives of those times used it for knowing the direction of stars .For example, Formations like the spider and the monkey could show star constellations like Orion and Ursa Mayor.

-Another theory was produced by Johan Reinhard who did many studies of this culture. And he says that it must have been something for representing the belief’s of those people for example they could have used it for securing crops and water to aid the people of Nazca.

-There is also another theory by Erich von Däniken which is also well-known. He said that a long time ago some visitors from other planets may have landed in Nazca. Later the Aliens disappeared and left confused people. Like in the modern cargo cults they tried to call the Gods back by drawing lines, figures and trapezes. Never Däniken said the formations were made by Aliens.

- Anthony Aveni contradicts theory of Maria Reiche. He compares the Nazca-lines with the ceque-lines in Cuzco. Those lines will bring in connection with calendar, water and mountain deities. So he's the idea there's a connection between the Nazca-lines and the subterranean canalization system. In this way the Nazca-Indians celebrated a water-cult. Figures and lines were used for ceremonial dances.

Like these ones they are many theories that may be true. But now the theory that is approved by many scholars is the theory by Maria Reiche.

Situation that has turned out differently from what you expected

I remember two months ago when I was about to go to my school trip with all my classmates, I was very excited because I thought I thought it would be the best 5 days of my life with my friends of life who I consider them as my sisters.
Everything was fine until we got to the airport, first there was a small problem with the computer system and the plane tickets, but after half an hour we could all get on the plane in route to Cusco. We were happy and 2 hours later we arrived to cusco and we started having a terrible headache because of the weather there. Then part of our luggage got lost.
By the time we got to the hotel some of my friends felt bad, so we took the day to get used to the weather.
In spite of everything we had a great time together that I will never forget, I will always remember those moments with my best friends.

Last year, my best friend Rebeca invited me to her birthday party and of course I had to go because I was her best friend. But Rebeca didn’t know the day,that’s why I only told my mom that I wanted to go to my friend’s house but that I didn’t know the day ,she gave me the permission for going but there was another thing I had to ask before going .Rebeca live far from my house and for that reason my parents wouldn't let me go alone ,so I asked my dad for taking me to the party and then I would call him when the party has ended. All was okay. Days later, she told me the party was going to be on December 21th but unluckily that day was my sister's graduation and all the plans had to change. My mom said that "if it was another day..." and with that I knew that I couldn't go to the party, I did everything for going ,I also called my aunt! But nobody could take me to my friend's house that day! I didn't know how to tell my friend "I’m sorry, I can’t go” but I had to do it because I wouldn’t leave my friend waiting for me to go. When December 21 came, my sister said that she didn't feel well and that she wasn't going to her prom, yay.

When I was a child, I used to be very naughty, and I remember that I wanted to learn how to ride a bicycle, so my father told me that he would teach me how to do it, all days, he was working all the morning, and in the afternoon, when I returned from the school he used to take me to the park whit my bicycle and try to show me how to ride, I thought it would be easy and I was going to learn easily, but I was wrong, I fall of the bike every time, I thought that it was not a big deal and I could do it quickly, Now, I had been riding bicycle almost for years, and now, from the point that I see it, it’s more easy than it looks, I don’t know I couldn’t do it before.

What do you consider the most important invention of the last 200 years?

In my opinion, the most important invention of the last 200 years is the automobile. This invention represents one of the biggest changes around the world because people used to use horses as their vehicles, but with the introduction of the first car it meant a lot of time saved. It also means people had been losing money before cars arrived because of the wasted time. 

With the time, automobiles were common to find in families just for their transportation. Nowadays it’s a necessity to get a car in order to come early to the job, be prepared for any emergency, etc. Nevertheless, automobiles are first polluting agent because for their exhaust gases witch cause a big impact directly to the ozone layer increasing the global warming. Furthermore, automobiles have one of the largest rates of death caused by an unrestrained negligence of drivers.

In my opinion the most important invention of the last 200 years is the digital camera because you can reminisce just with looking at a picture. Personally, it is interesting the way you can capture many moments just with touching one button. And now, with the help of technology it is easier. There are benefits and disadvantages to this. One advantage is that it’s easy to carry because nowadays digital cameras are becoming smaller with the pass of the years and you can put it in your jackets and that is all! Another benefit is that digital photos can be retouched/fix. For example, now there are a lot of websites where you can “fix” your photos. There is another positive thing like now digital cameras take both photos and videos. In my opinion this is a good thing because you won’t have to buy a separate item. But there are also some disadvantages to this. One drawback is the quick change of models of the same brand. For example, I remember when I bought my first digital camera, it was the ultimate model but in the next month there were better one. Another downside to this is the accumulation of hundreds or thousands of photos. Take for example the case of my sister, she always forgets that she has those photos and that is how photos are forgotten.
In conclusion, digital cameras are good because they allow you to take as many photos as you can but you don’t have to forget about the developing. I also think that digital cameras should be easier for some people because for some of them it is difficult to learn how to use it.

In my opinion the most important invention in the last 200 years is the cell phone . this product is essential for billons of people but it has benefits and disadvantages .   One advantage is that you can listen to  music , tex , play games when you’re bored and read books and buying online  .  Cell phones are essential in case of emergencies, frightening accidents and job-related issues and concerns   cell phones are essential for workers whom travel a lot and aren’t at home very often during the daytime , or in the evenings . Also they are easy to carry wherever your are . Many people had survived for decades without cell phones  because it has disadvantages . Cell phones  can be that cell phones are becoming a problem for schools during  classroom hours , student send a message to a other classmate and cheat on exams  . Some people become addicted to texting or playing games on the cell phone .  It can cause stress , headaches  and heart problems because it has too much radiation .Also cell phones can limit you time with friends and family . To conclude cell phones can help but in some cases can destroy our lives.

In my opinion, the most important invention in the last 200 years is the Internet. This invention was created around the 80’s and 90’s. In the beginning, a lot of persons tough wouldn’t be so important and needed like nowadays, but they get wrong. This tool now, it’s part of our life, it’s needed for different things like communication, complete a homework or an assignment or even to know the news. Persons of all ages and countries use it, teachers, students, parents, bosses, etc. But like any other important invention, it have benefits and disadvantages. The benefits are that this tool can replace a lot of things that nowadays are common but old. For example the newspaper, the internet is like an universal newspaper, it have everything you will like to know, not only from the present, it have the info of things of the past and even from the future. Another advantage is that with the internet our society keeps going forward with the technology and don’t stand in the same place. Also you can communicate with long distances friends and familiars, you can meet new persons, and make new friends no matter from what places you both are, you only need to have internet.

But the disadvantages are more; the internet could be also dangerous, for example, when you meet a new person from internet, you could think that the person you are talking with is the person he says he is, but how are you sure he is that person really, now there are a lot of ways to be sure, like videos and voice mails, but no one never is 100 percent sure. Maybe it could be a person that wants to make you feel sad, maybe for revenge or any other reason, or even could be a person that only wants to hurt you. Like this there are a lot of this advantages, so you have to know, that this is a very useful tool but also it can be a dangerous weapon, so always use it with straight care.

I consider social networks the fastest way of communication, so that is why for me social networks like Facebook, twitter, yahoo or many that exist in this year are so important for people worldwide.
Some benefits that social networks have is that teenagers can communicate faster with people that they love and maybe they are in another country, also they can share information with a group of people in order to do a good project; thy can get information to improve their knowledge. They can build their personality with a face to face conversation with friends and do also a mutual support with them so they can have a good social life.
There are also some risks that the parents need to see in their daughters because they can start a conversation with someone that they don’t know, social networks can create in the person the necessity to use it all the time and with this they can have problems in school because they didn’t study for a final exam or they didn’t do the homework. Sometimes there are a lot of cases of bullying, but with social networks it is called cyberbullying and it is a bad problem of our society that we have to eradicate.
The phenomenon of social networking has taken today’s youth culture by storm. At the same time, it has raised serious problems as the ones mentioned before, so that parents need to take a step back and get to know the facts of the matter and learn more and more about the pros and cons about social networks.

Family Attention

 

 

In my opinion, I think that both of them should pay attention between them, because if the child pays a lot of attention to his or her parents and they don’t pay them the same level of attention, it would be unfair, and it’s the same in the opposite way. I know that parents have to work and pay all the bills and they’re too busy, but a kid needs the attention of the parents, in one way or another, if the parents don’t show the needed attention to their children’s, they will feel lonely, and also they can think that the parents don’t love them, because they pay them so less attention that they sometimes even don’t show affection to them and that could be very dangerous for the growing of the children’s.  But nowadays, there are children’s that not show attention to their parents, they pay more attention to their friends, to go out on the house and being in the streets or in party’s or the most common, they pay more attention to their  technological devices and they don’t say even a hi or I love you to their parents. The parents, also can feel like the kids, that they are ignore for their children’s, and they can enter in a several case of depression. That’s why I think that both of them should give the same level of attention between them.

In my opinion I think They should listen each other to make a good relationship . Some people have four children’s and parents don’t care about the second child so he feels lonely and last born child wants  attention and make disorder  . I think they were supposed to show them appropriate behaviors instead to yelling or get angry with them  On the other hand, parents are authority  because they teach them to listen .  This kind of parents know how to control difficult situations  like dinner time , going out or  partying . children’s don’t control parents  but sometimes they does , when a child makes his tantrum to get something . Parents who works a lot  just care to give their children everything they want and make them happy with material stuff parents think that is the way to control  them but the are wrong  this causes the child to become spoiled and disobedient .This a problem that families have in the last years . To conclude ,  I think that children’s need a strong , loving , relationship with a parent but sometimes they don’t  . parents have to give them  enough time to spend  and  talk about what is going on between them . I think that  way they could solve their problems.

Personally, I think that both are important, both of them should complement each other. If children pay more attention to their parents, they would learn many things. Why do I say this? I say this because parents have already “lived” more than what we have, that’s why they have more experience and because of that they can give their children advices and that’s when children should pay attention. And now children may not notice it but those advices will help them in the future. But nowadays everything is the opposite than what we have expected for this generation. What I’m trying to say is the kids prefer to do things by their own instead of paying attention to their parents. On the other hand, parents should pay attention to their children too. The reason for saying this is that if parents don’t pay attention to their kids, they would probably don’t know what they like, how to give advices to them. And in my opinion some parents of these days think they know how to make their children feel loved. But they do it in the wrong way. What I mean by this is that they just care to give their children everything they want and make them happy with material stuff without paying attention to them because those parents think that doing that his/her role of parent is complete. However, this will affect the kid in the future because they might have what they wanted when they were kids but they didn’t have that parent affection and the kid will probably feel lost. And that is why both should complement each other. I think that is the way how family works. It should be like a “giving and receiving” thing, listening to all the opinions, agreements, etc.

In conclusion, if children pay more attention to their parents and parents to their children, both will establish a good relation where the key to peace is communication and there won’t be “big” problems because each one will listen to the opinion of other’s without having to yell or fight. But because of this children don’t have to forget that their parents still being the “authority” and that if they tell you something is just because they know what they’re doing.
